In his youth, Daniel "Fat Pants" Crocker was a renown gambler and thief. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University (not sure how he managed that), he now teaches English at Kirtland Community College in Roscommon, Michigan and edits the national literary journal Controlled Burn.
He has published two collections of poetry (People Everyday and Long Live the 2 of Spades), one short story collection (Do Not Look Directly Into Me), and most recently debuted his novel The Cornstalk Man. A new poetry collection, Like a Fish,is forthcoming from Flypaper Press in 2005. Crocker has also co-authored several chapbooks with fellow Idiot Shit Nathan Graziano.
However, his best work can be seen in his two lovely daughters - Allie and Ashley; they are beautiful.
